Greg Phillips, M.D., is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) specializing in high-risk pregnancies and minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Phillips also has extensive experience with multiple gestations and vaginal birth after cesarean surgery. He, along with his four partners, is part of the elite high risk transport team at Willis-Knighton South. This transport team works hand in hand with perinatologists, neonatologists, and various pediatric surgeons in order to deliver exceptional care to women with high risk pregnancies throughout North Louisiana, East Texas, and Southwest Arkansas. Dr. Phillips is also trained in robotic-assisted surgery as well as single site robotic surgery. Dr. Phillips is also proficient in office based procedures like hysteroscopy, long-term contraceptive placement, and Novasure. A member of the American Congress of Obstetrician Gynecologists, Dr. Phillips received his board certification in 2013. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2006, and completed his Ob/Gyn residency there as well in 2010. Dr. Phillips is also a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Dr. Phillips is active in various leadership roles both personally and within the hospital. He serves on the robotic sub-committee, peer review, sub-section chief of the OB/GYN department, as board member of the Hub Urban ministries, and board member of Providence Classical Academy. He and his wife have four children.
