The Orlando Health/Orange County Emergency Medical Services Fellowship program hosted an EMS Simulation Exercise to improve medical care collaboration during EMS scenarios. Emergency Medicine residents and medical students in the Emergency Medicine rotation participated in the simulation exercise. Area paramedic students participated as simulated patients. The EMS Simulation Exercise included five stations for preparedness training in five different mock scenarios including a disaster triage station to assess patients, an airway station to intubate a patient following a motor vehicle crash, and a cardiac arrest station to provide assistance in a stairwell.
