Miller Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of Michigan Health System. Dr. DeLancey completed his medical school and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the University of Michigan. During his distinguished career he has maintained an active clinical practice specializing in clinical and surgical treatment for complex problems of pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. Dr. DeLancey has been an author on over 180 original scientific research papers and has been a key-note and state-of-the-art lecturer in 16 countries on 5 continents. He has been President of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons and American Urogynecologic Society as well as serving on the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Female Pelvic Medicine/Reconstructive Surgery Division. He lives in his home town of Ann Arbor with his wife and 3 children.
