College athlete Michael Perry was a young and healthy offensive lineman until he was knocked on his elbow after practice one day. Michael immediately knew something was wrong since his elbow was radiating with pain. He underwent elbow reconstructive surgery, microvascular hand surgery and had muscle, tendon and ligament reconstruction. Johns Hopkins Orthopaedic specialists performed this complex procedure by using Michael’s own structures and reconnected them to their anatomic bone and soft tissue attachments. This procedure gave Michael essentially the same anatomy he had the day before his injury. For more information visit: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/ortho
