Foods with Vitamin A: It aids in preserving the skin texture Foods to consume: Carrots, papaya, spinach, parsley, tomatoes, watermelons, & apricots 2. Vitamin E and antioxidants: They help to protect the skin from toxins Foods to consume: Peanuts, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, vegetable oils & wheat germ 3. Vitamin C: It assists in flushing out body toxins Foods to consume: Oranges, lemons, guava, kiwi, sweet lime & Indian gooseberry 4. Zinc: It helps to boost the immune system Foods to consume: Nuts, whole grains & mushrooms —————————– Recipes based on the above food groups: Recipe 1: Papaya smoothie 1. Peel & de-seed about 1/3rd a papaya 2. Put this in a grinder to make a fine puree 3. Pour this puree in a bowl 4. Add 1 cup orange juice to it 5. Add 1 tsp honey 6. Now blend them well 7. Pour this in a glass 8. Put in a few ice cubes & its ready to serve Recipe 2: Salad 1. Boil 2 tbsp of corn kernels for 15-20 mins 2. While this is happening, cut 8-10 cherry tomatoes into half 3. Also, tear small pieces of 2-3 ice berg lettuce leaves 4. Peel & chop ½ a cucumber it into small pieces 5. Once the corn is boiled, strain the water 6. Mix all these ingredients in a bowl 7. Add 1 tsp olive oil to this mixture 8. Add salt and pepper to taste 9. Add 1 tsp lemon juice 10.
