It depends on what is the source of those multivitamins. As per research, some 90% nutrients or supplements or multivitamin pills obtained in the market are synthetic in nature and synthetic supplements have too many side effects. The supplements also could be natural, but considering that nothing is organic, they could be prepared naturally with lots of pesticides and lots of chemical fertilizers are being used in the produce. So those multivitamins also can cause some side effects because of toxins in them. The third category is some multivitamins are prepared from totally organic and seasonal fruits and vegetables and produce. So those are relatively safe. But they are in very very less amount and also they are very very expensive because they are high end supplements. In India also most of the supplements also available are synthetic in nature and cannot duplicate what nature produces. So this synthetic nutrients are prepared from petroleum jelly, they are petroleum derivatives. The minerals come from the mining industry. So they are both combined together and pressed in a pill form. This minerals are prepare from raw oysters, lime, chalk etc. your body cannot eat rocks or oyster shells. So the plant takes those nutrients form the rocks and soils and convert into bioavailable minerals. Vitamin also it should be bioavailable and not from the petroleum industry. Otherwise they have lots of side effects you have to choose wisely. Under the supervision of a certified nutritionist, how much multivitamins to be taken and what kind of multivitamins to be taken. So don’t depends on google. So stay healthy.
