http://www.sixpackfactory.com : The dumbbell bench press works the whole chest area. The specific muscles that are being targeted are the pectoralis major and pectoralis minor. To perform the DB Bench Press you must lie on your back on a flat bench, holding a pair of dumbbells over your chest, with your arms straight up and your hands facing forward. Bend your elbows and lower the dumbbells down to finish level with your chest. Contract your chest muscles and press the dumbbells back up to the start position in an arc.
