Multivitamins, B complex vitamins, most iron supplements, hair & nail supplements, and so many others all contain synthetic B vitamins, often in huge amounts. Interestingly, certain B vitamins are known to cause acne in susceptible people, even those with previously perfectly clear skin. I’ve tried B vitamins many times because I know how good they are for stress but each time they start giving me oily skin and major breakouts within a few weeks, and I’m not the only one. That’s why I think it’s important to share this information with you. As so many of us take some sort of B vitamins in our supplements, perhaps it could be the cause of your breakouts, too?
