There are really 3 ways to build muscle size or hypertrophy and when you use these methods you will not only build larger muscles but you will improve your muscle size and endurance. These 3 methods are metabolic tension, metabolic stress and muscle damage. One should incorporate all three types of training into your workouts to get maximum growth because our muscles are made up of different types of muscle fibers and each type responds to different stimulus. I am going to be posting more home workouts using all three methods of muscle growth.
