First of all here’s a myth that intermittent fasting will cause you to lose muscle. So not true! I have been putting intermittent fasting into practice for some years now. It has kept me lean, strong, and fit. The real reason why intermittent fasting works so darn well is because of one major factor, and that is the increases of your growth hormone. And today I am going to show you how the benefits of intermittent fasting can help you and why growth hormone is such an important factor. I started intermittent fasting because I was looking for a way to get lean and shredded. I came across a video where the HodgeTwins were talking about how they implemented intermittent fasting and they starting seeing fat literally fall off their body as they were walking. That sentence is what hooked me to try intermittent fasting and give it a go. I ended up implementing intermittent fasting and right away I saw the benefits of intermittent fasting start to take place within that very week! It was the answer I was looking for. Fat was being burned off my body at a very high rate. I was maintain my lean muscle mass not losing it. The best of all is that it create a new habit that made staying lean and fit effortless. Back then I didn’t understand the science behind the benefits of intermittent fasting, up until now. I have been following a Dr. Berg here on YouTube and he has explained the science behind everything that I have experienced with intermittent fasting and now I know exactly why intermittent fasting works so well. It all comes down to growth hormone. Dr. Berg says in one of his videos talking about the benefits of intermittent fasting that it can raise growth hormone up to 2000%. The reason raising growth hormone is so great says Dr Berg is because it is the main fat burning hormone and is also responsible for helping maintain our lean body mass and building new lean body tissue. Many call growth hormone ‘the fountain of youth’ and it makes sense because Dr. Berg also explains that it is very anti-aging as well. A few other benefits of intermittent fasting that I have found very helpful is the fact that it has created a new great habit that keeps me eating the right foods. It tells you when you can eat and when you can’t eat. This is very powerful because it creates a routine or habit, and a very good one that will help you accomplish your fitness goals and keep you healthy and lean year round. The benefits of intermittent fasting are endless, and it makes fitness effortless.
