UH Connor Integrative Health Network provides inpatient music therapy as a non-pharmacological treatment for stress, pain, anxiety and coping. Board Certified Music therapists (MT-BCs) are integrated throughout the University Hospital system working within interdisciplinary treatment teams to improve health outcomes. As an evidence-based practice, music therapy has engaged in research which supports its inclusion with in treatment strategies and patient care plans.
