Bowflex® Dumbbell Workout | Strengthening Your Back

We use our back muscles constantly, so building strength in your back is immensely important, as it helps to prevent you from ending up with a back injury. The stronger your back is, the easier everyday tasks that use your back – which are most of them – will be. This video shows you how to do two great exercises for you back using dumbbells, one for your upper back and one for your lower back: 1) Dumbbell Rows – Upper Back 2) Deadlifts – Lower Back It is important when doing these exercises that you take them slow and use proper form. Do about 10-15 reps with a weight that is challenging, but allows you to maintain complete control, and do 2-3 sets of both exercises. You can do these exercises twice a week, with a couple days of rest in between, but for beginners once a week is a good starting place until you get some strength built up.
