A US Army soldier accused of massacring 16 Afghans, including nine children, had a traumatic brain injury. The staff sergeant allegedly left his outpost in Kandahar on Sunday and walked house-to-house to kill his victims. Traumatic brain injury, or TBI, is one of the most common wounds sustained in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
