Testosterone is the first hormone when you think of men’s health, but men also have estrogen and progesterone hormones which are often thought of as female hormones. Men can get an excess of estrogen and low testosterone due to diet, the type of exercise they do, stress, personal care products and other xenoestrogens found in plastics and the environment. Excess estrogen can cause infertility, excess weight, increase cancer risk, increase cardiovascular disease risk, low libido, poor exercise recovery and weakness.
