The specific muscles that are being targeted are the latissimus dorsi, the rhomboids and the middle and lower trapezius. To perform the seated Band row sit upright on the floor with your legs straight out. Wrap an exercise band around your feet and hold the ends in each hand. Contract your back muscles and bend your elbows to row/pull your hands next to your hips. Slowly release and return to the start.
